šŸ‘‹šŸ» I am Chief Product and Brand Officer at ProPublica, an independent, nonprofit newsroom that produces investigative journalism in the public interest.

Previously, I spent 14 years at The New York Times, working to transform the Timesā€™s business and journalism. I created a cross-functional team focused on trust and credibility, was founding member of the newsroom strategy group and a co-author of the ā€˜2020 Reportā€™ on the future of the newsroom. I served as deputy editor on the Timesā€™s interactive news desk, designing and building data-driven projects on deadline.

I'm a past-president of The Society for News Design, which champions visual journalism, and taught as an adjunct professor and guest instructor at The New School, Columbia University and Stanfordā€™s d.school.
